Winner Winner is a casual dining chicken shop started in Hamilton East by a group of hospo mates, focusing on simple, local food like wood-fired chicken, salads and burgers. Now operated by Burger Fuel, it has expanded across New Zealand
I collaborated with the team to refine their dining concept, develop the name and create the brand identity, from the logo and signage through to the menus. We drew inspiration from vintage signage and graphics to convey a sense of craft that extends to the food and service
After a successful first year, Winner Winner became a local icon and was acquired by Burger Fuel in 2017 for nationwide franchising
The Hamilton East store won Bronze at the New Zealand Sign & Display Awards in 2017
